Different products, different storage rules
This page describes data handled by AstrologyAPI's JSON APIs, generated PDF reports, AI chat, palm, face and Vastu services. A calculation returned as JSON, a hosted report and a reusable image or chat record have different lifecycles.
Our business account, billing and support records are separate from those product inputs and outputs. The Privacy Policy explains those activities.

The approximately thirty-day period describes AstrologyAPI's deletion cycle; it is not an unconditional promise that every record is erased on an exact day. These periods do not establish the retention of independently held supplier or customer copies.
JSON API requests
Our JSON APIs process the user details supplied for the requested calculation and return the response. They do not retain those submitted user details. We retain the identity of the API called and whether the request succeeded or failed.
Use the documentation for your endpoint to identify the necessary inputs. A JSON response from an image, chat or report workflow does not convert that product's underlying stored records into a non-retaining calculation API; the relevant product rule still applies.
PDF reports and report links
Generated PDF reports are kept for three months. To request earlier deletion, email [email protected] with your account email and the relevant report identifier or link.
A report can contain personal information. Share its link only with intended recipients, and avoid including it in public code or support posts. Deleting a hosted report does not remove a copy that somebody has already downloaded. Do not rely on a hosted report link as a permanent archive.
Palm, face and Vastu records
Image services can create records for subsequent readings or analysis. Those records may include the original image, an image or record identifier, information extracted from the image and generated output. A floor plan can contain names, addresses or other personal information even when the service does not request those details.
We permanently delete palm, face and Vastu data after approximately thirty days, including originals and backups held by AstrologyAPI. A palm, face or Vastu identifier does not by itself anonymise the record. Treat identifiers and related outputs as personal information where they can be linked to an individual.
AI chat and provider processing
Chat context supports continuity between questions and responses. Free text can include information beyond an explicitly requested profile field. We permanently delete AI chat data after approximately thirty days, including originals and backups held by AstrologyAPI.
AI features use providers, mainly OpenAI and Gemini, to process relevant inputs and generate results. Their service-specific copies and processing arrangements are separate from AstrologyAPI's storage cycle. Contact us for the provider arrangements relevant to your use before submitting data with particular retention requirements. Customer systems and connected services
Your application, WordPress site, third-party AI client or other integration may keep its own request history, reports, images, analytics or downloads. Its operator controls those copies. An action in one system does not necessarily delete data in every connected system.
Use the policy for the specific product you access. The rules on this page do not automatically extend to every separately operated website linked from AstrologyAPI. Avoid using real personal data or production credentials in public demos and documentation questions unless needed for the feature and covered by its applicable notice.
Requesting access or deletion
Email [email protected] and include:
- Your account email or organisation name.
- The product involved and any relevant report, record or session identifier.
- Whether you want access, correction, deletion or information about retention.
Use identifiers rather than resending raw images or full personal profiles. Do not include API secrets. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity or authority and locate the affected data.
If you used a customer's application, contact that operator first. It can address its own copies and give us instructions for data we process on its behalf. Rights and response periods depend on applicable law; see the Privacy Policy. Return and deletion obligations for contracted processing are governed by the executed DPA.
Locations and specific requirements
Our infrastructure includes AWS and Google Cloud in India and US regions, Cloudflare DNS and website hosting, and R2 and S3 storage. This overview does not create a product-specific residency or supplier-retention guarantee.
If you need a fixed deletion deadline, an export arrangement, a particular processing location or specific handling of provider copies, contact us before submitting the affected information. Any agreed service-specific arrangement must be recorded in your contract.
